FAQ
- Which cameras are supported?
- Most RTSP and ONVIF cameras. We also support cloud vendors via official integrations or a local gateway for certain devices.
- Can I cast camera feeds to my TV?
- Yes — Chromecast and AirPlay are supported; an optimized web app covers Android TV / Fire TV. Native tvOS / Roku channels are planned.
- How secure is my video?
- Streams use TLS, signed playback URLs, and account-level 2FA. We also provide retention controls and local-only recording options for extra privacy.
How it works
We ingest local RTSP/ONVIF feeds or partner cloud streams, use WebRTC for live low-latency viewing and HLS for recorded playback. Recordings stored encrypted in cloud object storage with configurable retention policies.
